Dr. Sabine Kanngiesser

The patient as a human being means a lot to me. Since I spent a lot of time as a child in my father’s/grandfather’s practice I developed a passion for dentistry very early. Later as a student in my uncle’s clinic for oral and maxillofacial surgery my interest in dental surgery has emerged.

I combined my knowledge with my second passion – travelling – and worked several times in development aid with “German Doctors”. I regularly expand my knowledge at national and international dental and oral surgery training courses and congresses in order to be able to offer you the latest in dental care.

The walking-bleach-method

The specialist journal “ZP – Zahnärztliche Praxis” in conversation with Dr. Kanngießer:

Teeth that are devitalized and treated with a root canal discolor easily, which is particularly annoying in the front tooth area.

Teamwork is a dreamwork! Fortunately, over the years we have been able to supplement our team with equally committed and specialized staff, who today ensure smooth processes, optimum coordination and, above all, happy patients.

You don’t speak German? No worries – we got you covered!
We speak english | Hablamos español | Parliamo italiano | Türkçe konuşuyoruz | نحن نتكلم العربية | አማርኛ እንናገራለን | Мы говорим по-русски

We are active in numerous associations

The best possible treatments require you to always stay up to date! For this reason, we are involved in numerous associations, hold internal training courses and take part in national and international specialist congresses.

The professional policy goal of the association is the representation of surgical dentistry and oral medicine within national and international medical and dental organizations, professional organizations, politics and the public.

The BDO advocates a comprehensive definition of the subject area based on national and international standards, with particular reference to European developments.

The German Society of Dental and Oral Medicine, founded in 1859, is one of the oldest scientific associations. It is the umbrella organization of the scientific groups of German dentistry, oral and maxillofacial medicine

In this role, she coordinates the answers to scientific questions from politics and society and the development of guidelines for dental treatment. Science promotion and knowledge transfer belong to her core competences.

As Europe’s largest scientific society in its field, DGI creates knowledge and expertise through the collaboration of researchers and practitioners.

The more than 8,000 members of our society contribute and shape the progress in implantology. This benefits patients.

The Academy Practice and Science (APW) was founded in 1974 by the German Society of Dental, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (DGZMK). As a subsidiary of the DGZMK, it is their goal and concern to make the dental profession accessible to new dental findings in the form of structured training.

With the offer of the basic course “General Dentistry”, the predecessor of today’s curricular advanced training system, the APW made pioneering work in the field of dental advanced training in Germany in 1974.

The EDA was founded in 1999 as an umbrella organization of European training organizations and institutions.

It offers the possibility of European integration of all groups involved in continuing education and enables individual memberships for dentists who wish to specialize or specialize in one or more disciplines.

The German Society for Periodontology e.V. performs scientific and professional tasks in the field of dentistry, oral and maxillofacial medicine, especially in periodontology.

The German Society for Periodontology (DG PARO) is one of the oldest and largest dental societies. Founded over 80 years ago, the DG PARO has always remained a modern, progress-oriented professional society. In the foreground of the activity was always and stands today with 4,400 active members of the research in periodontology, research for the benefit of patients.

The German Society for Periodontology e.V. performs scientific and professional tasks in the field of dentistry, oral and maxillofacial medicine, especially in periodontology

The aim of the working group is to teach and to teach dentistry at the highest level, to promote prevention and prophylaxis and, above all, to achieve maximum quality and durability in treatment.

The BDIZ EDI offers a wide range of knowledge, support and, in particular, service for dental practices: top-class further training in connection with unique professional support in questions of law and billing are the core elements of the association.

I am also involved with German Doctors (former Doctors for the Third World)
